A law firm seeks a Settlement Attorney in San Diego, CA. This role offers the flexibility of working 100% remotely or in a hybrid capacity. The position focuses on managing class action and PAGA settlements without the pressure of billable hours, nights, or weekends.

Duties

  • Draft comprehensive class action and PAGA settlement agreements.
  • Prepare and file motions for preliminary and final approval.
  • Manage the settlement lifecycle, coordinating with opposing counsel and claims administrators.
  • Assist with virtual court appearances for approval hearings.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in class action and/or PAGA settlements.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in California.

Skills

  • Proficient in legal research and writing.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
