A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its bankruptcy practice in Fort Mitchell, KY. The role involves high-volume legal representation of mortgage lenders and servicers in bankruptcy-related matters. The successful candidate will thrive in a deadline-driven environment and work closely with experienced legal teams to deliver exceptional service to clients.

Duties

  • Represent creditors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Manage a high-volume caseload independently.
  • Draft legal pleadings, motions, and correspondence.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • License to practice law in Kentucky required, additional Ohio license preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and legal writing skills.
  • Ability to handle a large caseload in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Previous bankruptcy or foreclosure experience a plus, but not required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • License to practice law in Kentucky.
