Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Probate and Estate Planning Attorney to join its growing team. Location:

Duties:

  • Draft and revise estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Advise clients on tax minimization strategies and asset protection.
  • Conduct client meetings to understand their unique estate planning needs and goals.
  • Navigate the estate and trust administration process with clients.
  • Communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to clients.
  • Stay current on developments in estate planning and probate law.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals to provide comprehensive legal services.

Requirements:

  • Licensed attorney in North Carolina.
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in estate planning, probate, or estate and trust administration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.

Skills:

  • Expertise in estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate administration.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
