Job Overview:
A growing and client-focused law firm in Cary, NC is seeking a Full-Time Estate Planning Attorney to help individuals and families safeguard their legacies and protect their loved ones. This hybrid role involves drafting customized estate plans, conducting client meetings, and advising on tax, probate, and trust administration matters. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate demeanor, strong legal drafting skills, and a passion for helping clients plan for the future.

Location:

  • Cary, NC

Duties:

  • Draft and revise estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney

  • Advise clients on asset protection and tax planning strategies

  • Conduct in-depth client consultations to assess legal needs and long-term goals

  • Communicate complex legal concepts in a simple, client-friendly manner

  • Stay current on estate planning, probate, and trust law developments

  • Collaborate with attorneys and team members to provide integrated legal services

  • Manage caseload efficiently and meet client service deadlines

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration

  • Ability to build relationships with clients and understand their personal and financial goals

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team setting

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in North Carolina

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Legal drafting and document preparation

  • Legal research and problem-solving

  • Client relationship management and counseling

  • Proficiency with estate planning software or legal technology tools (preferred)
