Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with 2 to 4 years of experience to join its Private Client Practice Group in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced, collaborative, and client-focused environment, contributing to the firm's growth and success.

Duties

  • Draft standard and sophisticated estate planning documents.
  • Support structuring and implementing wealth-transfer strategies.
  • Assist with estate administration and tax return preparation.
  • Engage in domestic and international tax planning.
  • Maintain productive relationships with clients and co-advisors.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing, speaking, and research abilities.
  • Ability to be admitted to the DC Bar.

Education

  • LLM in Taxation is a plus but not required.

Certifications

  • Admittance to the DC Bar.

Skills

  • Experience with estate, gift, and income tax planning.
  • Exposure to international tax planning is a plus.
