Mid-level Commercial Litigator

A top-tier boutique law firm in New York City is seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Litigation Commercial Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of experience. Location:

Duties:

• Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters in both state and federal courts

• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and appellate briefs

• Conduct legal research and provide case strategy recommendations

• Manage discovery processes, including depositions and document review

• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and arguments

• Engage in settlement negotiations and client communications

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex litigation strategy

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of litigation experience at a law firm, preferably with a focus on commercial litigation

• Proven experience with substantive motion practice, discovery, and court appearances

• Ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously

• Familiarity with New York court procedures and local rules

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the New York State Bar
