Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Healthcare Regulatory Associate in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in health regulatory law, focusing on the healthcare and life sciences industries, including fraud and abuse, HIPAA, and corporate practice of medicine.

Duties

  • Advise telehealth and digital health companies on regulatory matters.
  • Assist with regulatory diligence and structuring of corporate transactions.
  • Work on healthcare transactions, including private equity and M&A.
  • Collaborate with companies and investors on compliance programs.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in healthcare regulatory law.
  • Experience in a law firm environment required; government experience at CMS, OCR, or DOJ is a plus.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Superior analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Education

  • JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice in DC or NY.
