Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level Health Care Life Sciences Regulatory Associate to join its Washington, D.C. office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with diverse clients across various industries globally.

Duties

  • Advise clients on U.S. FDA and other regulatory matters, including product development and commercialization strategies.
  • Support cross-border regulatory strategies and corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions.
  • Conduct regulatory due diligence for transactional matters involving advanced technology and life sciences companies.
  • Assist in developing compliance strategies across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and prepare strategic guidance for clients.

 

Requirements

  • Three to six years of experience in a law firm, government agency, or in-house legal department.
  • Substantive experience in life sciences product regulatory law and FDA compliance.
  • Ability to manage complex matters in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Admission to one or more state bars.

 

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

 

Certifications

  • State bar admission.

 

Skills

  • Experience with cell and gene therapy, immuno-oncology, or advanced biotechnology regulation.
  • Familiarity with CMS reimbursement and pricing frameworks.
  • Experience advising on cross-border regulatory matters.
  • Professional fluency in Japanese or Mandarin is a plus.
