Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Bankruptcy Associate with three to five years of substantive experience in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Chapter 11 proceedings and experience representing both debtors and committees of unsecured creditors. Duties

Requirements

  • Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings and representing debtors and creditors.
  • Bankruptcy court experience, including contested hearings and adversary proceedings.

Education

  • Strong academic credentials required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
