Duties

  • Develop litigation strategies for disputes and play key roles in insurance coverage, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation and arbitration.
  • Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage analyses, and provide recommendations for clients.
  • Conduct complex legal research and draft legal memoranda and position papers.
  • Draft pleadings, briefs, written discovery, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in depositions, document reviews, hearings, and conferences.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of litigation experience.
  • Experience with insurance coverage issues is desirable.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize significant projects independently.

Education

  • J.D. required.

Certifications

  • Eligibility for admission to the D.C. bar if not already admitted.
