Job Overview
A law firm seeks a highly qualified Restructuring Associate to join its practice in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in representing secured lenders and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings and related transactions.

Duties

  • Represent secured lenders and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Handle DIP financing and cash collateral use.
  • Manage plans of reorganization and asset dispositions.
  • Conduct out-of-court workouts and restructurings.
  • Oversee foreclosures and liability management transactions.
  • Facilitate assignments for the benefit of creditors.

 

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of law firm experience in restructuring.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.

 

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

 

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

 

Skills

  • Proficiency in bankruptcy law and related transactions.
  • Ability to manage complex legal matters.
