Will be conducting interviews with clients to obtain invention disclosures. Preparing patent applications under the supervision of a patent attorney, analyzing office actions and preparing responses under the supervision of a patent attorney. Conducting interviews with Patent Office examiners and other patent prosecution-related activity, assisting in formulating and preparing infringement and validity opinions, working on patent post-grant proceedings, assisting in patent and other litigation, and supporting intellectual property licensing and other transactions. Serve in writing scientific and technical documents in clear concise English; effectively managing a docket with multiple clients and deadlines. The candidate will be responsible for performing highly complex and sensitive client work requiring a high level of professional capability and skill. Will be preparing draft patent applications and draft responses to communications from the USPTO. Assisting attorneys in the delivery of quality legal services to clients in an efficient and cost effective manner. Prepare draft patent applications in particular incorporating scientific aspects of inventions. Prepare draft responses to communications from U.S. and foreign patent offices with regard to factual and other scientific matters.
