Energy and Infrastructure Tax Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Junior Associate with six months to 2 years of transactional tax experience to join their Energy and Infrastructure team in San Francisco, California. The role involves supporting the financing of renewable energy assets and monetizing tax credits.

Duties

• Assist in the development of wind, solar, and other renewable energy projects.
• Support developers, sponsors, and investors in energy transition projects.
• Engage in tax equity financings and M&A transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum six months of large law firm experience in renewable energy transactions.
• Experience in partnership tax or tax credit structuring is desirable.
• Membership to the State Bar of California is required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to the State Bar of California.
