Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate to join its team in San Francisco, CA. The successful candidate will handle complex commercial and residential real estate transactions, providing expert legal advice and support to a diverse client base.

Duties

• Manage key aspects of commercial and residential purchases and sales.
• Conduct title and survey reviews and oversee the transaction process.
• Communicate effectively with counsel, escrow, and principals.
• Draft and advise on finance, leasing, and construction contracts.
• Ensure compliance with California real estate laws and taxation issues.
• Contribute to business development and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

• Admitted and in good standing with the California Bar.
• 3-5 years of experience in a law firm's Real Estate group.
• Strong academic credentials and domestic experience required.
• International/cross-border experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive self-starter with strong project management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple assignments.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
