Mid-Level Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Litigation Attorney for a remote or hybrid position based in Newport Beach, California. The attorney will manage a variety of litigation matters, including wrongful death, catastrophic injury, construction, breach of contract, and tort claims, from inception to resolution.

Duties

• Manage legal strategy, research, and drafting pleadings and motions.
• Oversee discovery processes and argue motions in court.
• Attend mediations and trials.
• Collaborate with team members and mentor under experienced partners.

Requirements

• Current admission to the California State Bar.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience, including defending tort claims.
• Experience in preparing pleadings, discovery, and legal briefs.
• Proficiency in arguing motions and attending mediations preferred.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaboratively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.
