Associate - Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney to join its Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Group in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience and a strong interest in benefits and executive compensation, general corporate, and/or tax law.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Advise clients on benefits and employment issues, focusing on health and welfare benefits.
• Provide guidance on plan design, implementation, compliance, corrections, amendments, and terminations.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Professional and effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of Tennessee or eligibility for admission.
