Job Overview

Duties

  • Conduct land use due diligence and permitting, assessing options for new projects and site redevelopment.
  • Set strategies to achieve client developer goals and assist throughout the permitting process.
  • Navigate complex legal and regulatory issues, providing practical, client-focused advice.
  • Update clients regularly on the progress of their matters.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated interest in public agency representation.
  • Substantive land use experience; transactional experience is beneficial.
  • Experience with CEQA, NEPA, and other environmental protection laws.
  • Proficiency in planning and zoning law.
  • Excellent writing, research, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
