Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated associate to join its Insurance Recovery and Counseling practice group in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and experience counseling and representing policyholders in complex insurance coverage litigation, including arbitrations.

Duties

  • Analyze and interpret complex insurance policies, endorsements, exclusions, and coverage frameworks.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage multiple deadlines effectively with strong organizational skills.
  • Engage in client contact and assume increasing levels of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing or ability to become admitted promptly.
  • Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in relevant legal practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the state bar.
