Duties

  • Support clients on multi-jurisdictional tax matters.
  • Manage large, multi-country projects and coordinate with global teams.
  • Advise on U.S. and international tax technical issues.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
  • Draft legal documents, including briefs and contracts.
  • Assist in managing complex cases and transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
  • Engage in professional development and community involvement.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of international tax experience.
  • Strong technical excellence and practical judgment.
  • Experience with U.S. and global international tax rules.
  • Knowledge of income tax treaties and permanent establishment issues.
  • Familiarity with Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and withholding tax considerations.
  • Understanding of tax-free reorganizations and IP planning.
  • Experience with OECD BEPS frameworks and related legislation.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and modeling is a plus.

Education

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice in the state of California.
