Business Litigation Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Business Litigation Associate to join their remote team. This role involves working on sophisticated business, crypto, and IP disputes across US and international courts. The successful candidate will collaborate with a high-performing international team and play a key role in client success.

Duties

• Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and contribute to case strategy and analysis.
• Support matters across all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation through enforcement.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and motion practice; support trial preparation.
• Manage discovery, including document review, production, and evidence development.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel on day-to-day matters.
• Manage deadlines and multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• JD from a US law school.
• Active Bar admission.
• 2-3 years of experience in business litigation.
• Strong familiarity with US litigation procedures and court practice.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong communication skills and sound professional judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

• California Bar admission strongly preferred.
• Experience with crypto, IP, or technology-related disputes.

Education

• Doctor of Law (JD).

Certifications

• License to practice law in the United States.
