Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to join its litigation practice group in New York, NY. This full-time role is primarily remote, though the attorney must be available for in-person court appearances as needed. Ideal candidates will have at least 10 years of litigation experience and the ability to manage all aspects of trial preparation and courtroom proceedings. Location:

Duties:

• Manage complex litigation cases from inception through trial or settlement

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Participate in and oversee all aspects of trial preparation

• Handle depositions, hearings, and motion practice independently

• Engage with clients, providing legal advice and regular case updates

• Collaborate with internal teams on litigation strategy and client advocacy

• Utilize e-discovery tools to manage document production and analysis

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience

• Substantive experience in trial preparation and courtroom advocacy

• Strong proficiency with motion practice, depositions, and client interactions

• Familiarity with e-discovery tools and procedures

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment

• Strong attention to detail and case organization

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of New York (Required)
