Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Inventory Attorney in Scranton, PA. The role involves performing litigation support functions to enhance accuracy and efficiency across cases. The attorney will coordinate workstreams within assigned torts, maintain deadline controls, and mentor paralegals to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Duties

  • Understand litigation requirements and translate them into operational activities.
  • Maintain deadline controls and ensure escalation protocols are followed.
  • Drive filing readiness by ensuring documentation supports timely decisions.
  • Deliver a client experience based on trust and insight.
  • Assist in coordinating tasks for paralegals and case managers.
  • Oversee compliance with court rules and filing protocols.
  • Manage post-filing litigation requirements, including discovery and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate to develop efficient procedures and improve workflows.
  • Mentor and train legal support staff to enhance procedural knowledge.

Education

  • JD required

Certifications

  • Admission to at least one U.S. state bar required

Skills

  • Experience with complex litigation preferred.
  • Experience mentoring and supervising others preferred.
  • Experience using CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and Litify.
