Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Financial Services Associate with 3 to 7 years of experience for their office in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of federal securities laws and will join a team advising a diverse range of financial services firms, asset managers, and investment funds on fund structures and regulatory matters.

Duties

• Advise clients on cross-border registration and regulatory examinations.
• Handle enforcement and broker-dealer matters.
• Address issues involving blockchain and digital assets.

Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of the Investment Company Act and/or Investment Advisers Act.
• Experience with exchange-traded funds, interval funds, or business development companies is a plus.
• Large law firm, in-house, or regulatory agency experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
