A law firm seeks a junior Energy Transactions Associate in Houston, TX. This full-time position involves working on complex domestic and international energy transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, project development, and project finance across various energy sectors.

Duties

  • Collaborate with the team on energy transactions and related matters.
  • Engage in project development and finance activities.
  • Draft and review project contracts.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions processes.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of legal experience; energy sector experience preferred.
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Admission or pending admission to one or more state bars.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Good standing with the Texas State Bar or commitment to sit for the Texas Bar Exam.
