Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Data Protection, Privacy, and Security Associate to join its New York, NY office. This role involves advising global organizations on privacy, cybersecurity, and data governance matters, with a focus on U.S. state and federal privacy laws and cross-border compliance initiatives.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
• Draft legal documents, including briefs and contracts.
• Assist in managing complex cases and transactions.
• Build and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, or regulatory advisory work preferred.

• In-house or regulatory experience is a plus.
• Experience with AmLaw 100 firms is desirable.

Education

• JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in New York or District of Columbia.
