Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Patent Agent to join the Patent Prosecution and Litigation Practice Group in Atlanta, GA. The role involves working with the Electrical Engineering and Software Team, focusing on 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards.

Duties

• Draft and prosecute patent applications.
• Collaborate with the Electrical Engineering and Software Team.
• Engage in patent litigation support activities.

Requirements

• IP experience in drafting and patent prosecution.
• Background in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar field.
• Design engineering experience with a chip company is a plus.
• Wireless communication experience in 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards is desired.
• Admitted to the USPTO with 2-6 years of legal experience.
• Licensed to practice law or ability to become licensed in the state of employment.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Education

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.

Certifications

• USPTO registration.
