Job Overview:
An established international law firm with ten offices is seeking a motivated and skilled Litigation Attorney to join its team in Nashville. This full-time position is ideal for attorneys with 2-6 years of experience in property coverage or insurance litigation. The firm offers a flexible work environment with the option for remote work, but candidates must be available for in-person activities as required. Location:

  • Nashville, Tennessee

Duties:

  • Draft insurance coverage opinions and handle bad faith litigation cases.
  • Manage cases, including drafting motions, handling discovery requests, and taking depositions.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Perform legal research and prepare presentations to support case strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members on case strategy and client management.
  • Potential for travel as required by case demands.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of experience in property coverage or insurance litigation.
  • Strong background in drafting legal opinions and managing litigation cases.
  • Experience with discovery, motions, depositions, and court proceedings.
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Bar admission in Tennessee required.
  • Must be located in Tennessee.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Tennessee State Bar Admission required.

Skills:

  • Strong litigation and case management skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
