Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Roswell, GA for a fully remote position. The role involves representing mortgage lenders and investor clients in commercial and residential foreclosure, title disputes, and real estate litigation.

Duties

• Manage a caseload of contested matters for mortgage lenders and investors.
• Appear in court for routine and contested hearings.
• Communicate regularly with clients for updates and case resolution.
• Analyze loan files, title reports, and other documents.
• Draft motions and prepare written discovery and responses.
• Conduct legal research and writing.

Requirements

• J.D. degree, licensed in Georgia, and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
• 1-8 years of relevant litigation experience preferred.
• 1-8 years of motion practice and courtroom experience.
• Knowledge of Georgia Mortgage Foreclosure Law is helpful.
• Familiarity with Georgia Code of Civil Procedure and Supreme Court Rules.
• Experience with foreclosure litigation involving residential and commercial property is a plus.
