Corporate M&A and Securities Senior Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a senior-level associate to join its Corporate M&A and Securities Practice in Boston. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience focusing on M&A and private equity transactions, with a strong understanding of acquisition agreements and related documentation.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related documents.
• Support private equity sponsors and portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Manage internal and external client relationships effectively.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record with middle-market deal structures preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in the Boston office at least three days per week.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.

Skills

• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating M&A and private equity documents.
• High degree of maturity and business sense.
