A law firm seeks an Inventory Attorney in Washington, DC. The attorney will maintain deadline controls and enhance operational efficiency across cases.

Duties

  • Understand litigation requirements and translate them into operational strategies.
  • Maintain deadline controls and ensure escalation protocols are followed.
  • Drive filing readiness by ensuring documentation supports timely decisions.
  • Deliver a client experience based on trust and insight.
  • Assist in coordinating tasks for paralegals and case managers.
  • Oversee compliance with court rules and filing protocols.
  • Manage post-filing litigation requirements, including discovery and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate to improve litigation support workflows.
  • Mentor and train legal support staff.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to engage clients with professionalism.

  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

  • Understanding of federal and state litigation procedures.

Education

  • JD required.

Certifications

  • Admission to at least one U.S. state bar required.

Skills

  • Experience with complex litigation preferred.
  • Experience mentoring and supervising others preferred.
  • Experience using CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and Litify.
