Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Healthcare Litigation Attorney in Roseland, NJ. The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in commercial and complex litigation, with a focus on healthcare and employment matters. Duties

  • Handle litigation proceedings from inception through resolution, focusing on healthcare and employment matters.
  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and briefs.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Represent clients in court, arbitration, and administrative hearings.
  • Develop and execute litigation and defense strategies.
  • Manage multiple cases independently with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Support related practice groups as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the department.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar required; New York admission is a plus or willingness to obtain.
  • 7+ years of legal experience, including taking and defending depositions and first or second-chair trial experience.
  • Excellent communication, writing, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and professionalism.
  • Team-oriented with strong leadership, mentoring, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Adaptable, intellectually curious, and capable of handling complex legal and business issues.

Education

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar; New York admission is a plus.
