Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Energy Transactional Project Development Associate in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 7 years of project experience, particularly in energy, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate M&A, JVs, EPCs, O&M, tolling, development, supply agreements, and power purchase agreements.
  • Manage components of deals independently.
  • Represent clients in national project finance and development matters.
  • Collaborate with deal teams to assume responsibility and engage with partners and clients.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of relevant project experience.
  • Strong drafting and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex transactions independently.
