Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Advertising and Promotions Attorney at the Partner level in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will possess significant expertise in advertising, marketing, and promotions across traditional and new media, and will contribute to the growth of the firm's practice in this area.

Duties

  • Provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters.
  • Protect clients' business interests and brand elements throughout campaign life cycles.
  • Counsel clients on avoiding and responding to challenges related to false advertising.
  • Lead litigation of false advertising and unfair competition claims.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships and participate in business development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of specialized experience in advertising law.
  • Proven record of successful client representation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.

Education

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Valid authorization to work in the U.S.

  • Ability to lead and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff.
