Business Litigation Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a business litigation associate to join its Washington, DC office. The firm handles complex business disputes and white-collar matters nationwide, offering a dynamic and challenging work environment.

Duties

• Research and draft motions and deposition outlines.
• Prepare exhibits and manage motion practice.
• Coordinate discovery and understand civil procedure.
• Take and defend depositions and argue motions.
• Manage large, complex discovery processes.
• Participate in business development efforts.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in complex business disputes.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Federal clerkship and big law experience preferred.
• Licensed or eligible for immediate licensing in Washington, DC.
• Maryland and/or Virginia bar is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Washington, DC.
