Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Project Finance Associate in Minneapolis, MN. This role focuses on debt and tax equity financings and related development for renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, and storage. The position involves structuring, negotiating, and closing various financing transactions.

Duties

• Structure, negotiate, and close construction and term debt facilities and tax credit monetization transactions.
• Draft and negotiate financing agreements and related deal documents.
• Manage due diligence and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Lead and execute financing transactions, acquisitions, and joint ventures.

Requirements

• JD and active bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in debt and tax equity project finance and M&A.
• Proven ability to manage transactions independently and drive closings.
• Strong grasp of tax equity structures and partnership tax concepts.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
