Client Intake and Assessment Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Client Intake and Assessment Attorney to join its Business Real Estate team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will possess litigation experience and demonstrate strong client service skills.

Duties

• Provide excellent customer service for new case referrals.
• Handle initial case calls and emails, routing to appropriate attorneys.
• Assist with new case setup, including generating internal case numbers and agreements.
• Gather new case information from referrals, including documentation and witness details.
• Provide basic legal representation and counsel clients appropriately.
• Represent the firm internally and externally.
• Support legal, management, and client service goals as needed.

Requirements

• J.D. and active California Bar license.
• 5+ years of experience as a licensed California attorney.
• Previous civil litigation experience.
• Experience in landlord-tenant law.
• Ability to communicate regularly with clients on various topics.
• Ability to multitask and meet inflexible deadlines independently and in a team.

• Graduate degree

Certifications

• Active California Bar license

Skills

• Experience with ProLaw or other billing and document management programs preferred.
