Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is actively seeking a Litigation Associate to support its premier healthcare practice. This role offers a dynamic environment for attorneys with a strong litigation background who are looking to work on high-impact cases involving healthcare clients. Prior healthcare industry experience is welcome but not required. The role is ideal for driven legal professionals seeking to expand their litigation career within a highly respected legal team.

Location:

  • Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

  • Represent healthcare sector clients in complex litigation matters

  • Draft and edit legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and memoranda

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis

  • Support preparation for trials, hearings, and depositions

  • Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on litigation strategy and case management

  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to healthcare litigation

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of litigation experience (3–5 years preferred)

  • Admission to the state bar in CA

  • Demonstrated excellence in legal writing, analysis, and oral advocacy

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines

  • Healthcare litigation or regulatory experience is a plus but not mandatory

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Strong academic performance required

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the respective jurisdiction (CA)

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal research and drafting abilities

  • Clear and persuasive written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

  • Proficiency with legal research tools and case management systems
