Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for its Health Care and Life Sciences practice in Los Angeles, CA. Duties

• Provide legal advice on managed care matters to various health entities.
• Advise on federal and California regulatory compliance, including Knox-Keene Act licensure.
• Draft and negotiate provider network participation and services agreements.
• Counsel clients on coverage, reimbursement, and risk-sharing arrangements.
• Advise accountable care organizations on Medicare programs and compliance.
• Support Medicare Advantage and Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of relevant California managed care experience.
• Strong contract drafting background with interest in managed care operations.
• Admission to the California Bar or eligibility to be admitted.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar admission or eligibility.
