Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established litigation defense firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its Bridgeport, Connecticut office. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong interest in insurance defense and professional liability litigation. Location:

Duties:

• Assist in all phases of the litigation process from pre-suit through trial

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses

• Attend court hearings, depositions, and client meetings

• Analyze claims and develop defense strategies

• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case planning and litigation tactics

• Participate in client communications and settlement negotiations

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Active admission to the Connecticut Bar (required)

• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills

• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and detail-focused

• Excellent communication and time management abilities
