Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Practice Resource Attorney in New York to collaborate with Real Estate partners. The role involves developing and implementing projects to meet the knowledge needs of the Real Estate practice group, including training, knowledge management, and client-facing initiatives.

Duties

  • Identify and organize practice-related training needs and design comprehensive training curriculum.
  • Draft and improve training materials, updating them to reflect key market and regulatory developments.
  • Collaborate with practice group leaders to develop agendas and strategic priorities for group meetings.
  • Organize and deliver cross-group and summer associate training programs.
  • Monitor and update practice-related knowledge content and market developments.
  • Develop and update model forms, best practices, and precedent banks.
  • Act as the primary contact for updates from external legal and market organizations.
  • Promote client and business development initiatives and produce client-facing materials.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal or knowledge management role.
  • Preferred focus in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Excellent drafting and research skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Understanding of learning processes and training methods.
  • Interest in technology and effective interpersonal skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
