Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their team in Nashville, Tennessee. The candidate will manage multiple cases, demonstrate strong litigation skills, and provide excellent client service. Occasional travel to Houston headquarters is required.

Duties

  • Represent clients throughout all phases of litigation, from intake to resolution.
  • Draft and review pleadings, complaints, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Direct and monitor the probate process in coordination with docket managers.
  • Review, analyze, and summarize medical records and case-related documentation.
  • Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with co-counsel, opposing counsel, and other law firms involved in litigation.
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, and hearings as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvements by refining documented procedures.
  • Provide assistance with overflow tasks and special projects as required.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active Tennessee State Bar membership required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or probate.
  • Proven ability to handle depositions, hearings, and mediations preferred.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; PACER and Excel experience helpful.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active Tennessee State Bar membership.
