Intellectual Property Attorney

A law firm in New York City is seeking an Intellectual Property Attorney with portable business and extensive experience in intellectual property law.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and strategic advice on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
• Draft and negotiate intellectual property agreements, licenses, and contracts.
• Conduct intellectual property due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Manage intellectual property litigation, including infringement disputes and enforcement actions.
• Perform trademark and patent prosecution before the USPTO and other relevant agencies.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on intellectual property issues.
• Develop and implement intellectual property protection strategies for clients.

Requirements:

• Portable business.
• Extensive experience as an Intellectual Property Attorney.
• Admission to the State Bar in New York or eligibility for admission.
• Strong understanding of intellectual property laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage complex intellectual property matters and transactions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Education/Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar in New York or ability to become licensed.
• Certification in Intellectual Property Law preferred.
