General Liability Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A full-time General Liability Associate Attorney position based in Hartford, Connecticut, with a hybrid work arrangement. This role focuses on defending general liability matters and offers the opportunity to independently manage cases while collaborating with experienced litigators in a national law firm environment.

Duties:

• Independently manage a general liability litigation caseload
• Handle court appearances, depositions, and other litigation proceedings
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Collaborate with attorneys and partners on litigation strategy and legal projects
• Communicate with clients and provide regular case updates
• Manage cases efficiently from assignment through resolution

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of general liability litigation experience
• Experience with products liability, trucking, or transportation matters preferred
• Professional liability experience is a plus
• Ability to independently manage a caseload in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Legal project management experience is beneficial

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active admission to practice law in Connecticut
