Duties

  • Lead and manage complex transactions, ensuring effective legal strategy and execution.
  • Draft and negotiate critical transaction documents, including purchase and shareholder agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver strategic legal solutions and favorable outcomes.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, optimizing legal, tax, and business outcomes.
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence, identifying potential risks and ensuring thorough document review.
  • Advise on post-transaction integration issues and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Assist senior colleagues in developing transaction strategies and preparing for negotiations.
  • Stay updated on legal developments in the area of specialization.
  • Coach and develop junior lawyers within the practice.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge and significant experience in a specialized area of law, typically with at least 8 years of practice post-qualification.
  • Ability to support partners in managing client relationships and progressing technical matters.
  • Experience leading complex legal matters.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
