Corporate Trust Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Trust Associate to join its Asset Securitization Department in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in corporate trust, loan agency, or finance transactional work at a large or mid-size law firm.

Duties

• Familiarize with corporate debt offerings, including Rule 144A and Regulation S.
• Represent indenture trustees, administrative agents, and collateral agents on debt offerings and loan financing transactions.
• Review and negotiate credit agreements, collateral documents, and other related documents.
• Understand UCC Article 8 and 9 and review financing statements.
• Maintain strong communication and client relations skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.
• Ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Membership in good standing or eligibility to waive into the Bar in the jurisdiction of the office.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.
