Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Attorney specializing in Workers' Compensation in Mount Laurel, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in Workers' Compensation and possess excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills. The ability to manage a litigation caseload independently and work effectively within a team is essential.

Duties

  • Manage cases from inception to post-trial.
  • Communicate with clients to keep them updated on case status.
  • Make court appearances and participate in mediation.
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Prepare, review, and respond to discovery.
  • Conduct research as required by each case.
  • Conduct direct and cross-examination of expert witnesses.
  • Meet billing requirements.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of Workers' Compensation experience.
  • Experience with deposition, mediation, and courtroom preferred.
  • Strong positive attitude and dedication to firm goals.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.

Skills
