Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated associate to join its Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and restructuring, with a focus on providing exceptional client service.

Duties

• Document, negotiate, and close secured and unsecured credit facilities and loan transactions.
• Conduct due diligence for various credit facilities, with a preference for syndicated credit facilities.
• Manage large commercial and corporate lending transactions from inception through post-closing.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of sophisticated finance experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Licensed or eligible to be immediately licensed to practice law in North Carolina.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or eligible for immediate licensure.

Skills

• Proven experience in managing complex transactions.
