Real Estate Senior Associate or Counsel

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Senior Associate or Counsel for its Orlando, FL office. The candidate will manage commercial real estate transactions, including lease reviews, acquisitions, and dispositions, from contract negotiation through due diligence and closing.

Duties

• Manage routine commercial real estate transactions.
• Handle lease reviews and property acquisitions and dispositions.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements and JV agreements.
• Spearhead transaction due diligence.
• Collaborate on complex engagements in a team environment.

Requirements

• J.D. degree and state bar membership required.
• 6+ years of experience in sophisticated deal work preferred.
• Strong background in title and survey items preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in the applicable state.

Education

• J.D. degree required.

Certifications

• Membership in the applicable state bar association.
