Job Overview

A law firm seeks a talented Environmental Attorney at the senior associate or junior partner level to join and help grow its environmental, land use, and project development practice in Buffalo, NY.

Duties

  • Advise clients on environmental and land use issues, including regulatory compliance and project development.
  • Represent clients before administrative agencies and federal environmental bodies.
  • Handle or oversee environmental litigation, including enforcement defense.
  • Provide counsel on environmental aspects of real estate and business transactions.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives within the firm's environmental practice areas.
  • Stay current on changes in environmental law and policy affecting clients and projects.

Requirements

  • 4-10 years of experience in environmental law or related litigation.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
