Duties

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct extensive legal research.
• Develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients.
• Prepare pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
• Ensure prompt and efficient disposition of assigned cases.
• Assist in preparing and presenting witnesses and evidence at trials and hearings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with J.D. and admission to the Indiana State Bar.
• 1-4 years of experience in insurance defense or related setting.
• Litigation experience required.
• Strong writing skills and excellent work ethic.
